Three quarters of our company dock's billing is foreign cargo. Our port facilities are located in the Hibikinada area, Wakamatsu district, Kitakyushu City, and include 6 piers where 150,000t maximum supertankers can berth.
As a large port mainly handling foreign dealings, coal and other materials are unloaded, stored, and transported to neighboring industrial regions.
Coke is distributed domestically and internationally.
Furthermore, our marine distribution and port businesses are directly and indirectly connected to all areas within Japan through coordination with Miike port in Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture, one of the largest cargo handling capacity on the west coast of Kyushu, and Miike Shipping & logistics office, the control center for all transport operations.
At the same time, we also have a wide range of vehicles and types of storage to handle the various needs arising in land distribution of either industrial or general cargo. And, we have an established nationwide land distribution network. In this way, we have achieved total marine and land distribution.
